MANAGING DIRECTOR

Samuel (Sam) is a Fort Wayne native who has been involved with the community and its people for many years. He began interning at Leading Edge Payments as a high school student and later accepted a full-time position at the company while attending Purdue-Fort Wayne full-time. During this time, he worked under Mike and Brian’s leadership, learning valuable skills, acquiring industry knowledge, and developing relationships with customers who have placed their trust in the Leading Edge Team over the last 20 years. Sam now oversees the procurement of new software and hardware solutions, manages the customer service department, and leads the onboarding team, ensuring that daily operations are well-oiled. The partners and representatives of Leading Edge know they can count on Sam’s leadership to ensure their clients' needs are met and problems are resolved. Sam continues to bring new life to the business and has an irreplaceable personality that helps keep the company grounded in its values, traditions, and hometown culture.

Before joining Leading Edge Payments full-time, he had experience running landscape construction crews, as well as food and beverage management. Outside of work, you’ll find Sam spending time with his family and friends, or with other musicians, where he’ll play his saxophone, hoping to be the next Charlie Parker
